Launch

Launch (ランチ, Ranchi), also known as Lunch, is a character in the Dragon Ball series with a unique dual personality. She switches between a kind-hearted, blue-haired woman and a violent, blonde-haired criminal each time she sneezes. Neither personality remembers the actions or words of the other. The gentle Launch is helpful and often does chores at Master Roshi's, while the aggressive Launch is a trigger-happy criminal who enjoys using firearms. After encountering Goku and his friends, she becomes a part of their lives, though she does not pursue martial arts training. Her dual personality often leads to chaos and comedy within the group. In Dragon Ball Z, she is seen living with Tien Shinhan and later contributes energy to Goku's Spirit Bomb. Launch's character design is inspired by an actress in Jackie Chan's movie, "Wheels on Meals." Her name, "ランチ" (Ranchi), translates to "lunch" in Japanese, hinting at her role and inspiration. Despite her split personality, Launch remains a memorable character in the Dragon Ball series.
