Yajirobe

Yajirobe (ヤジロベー) is a character from the Dragon Ball series, initially introduced as a wandering ronin swordsman. Despite his overweight physique and often lazy and cowardly demeanor, he possesses surprising strength and skill with a katana. Known for his immense appetite, Yajirobe is fond of food, particularly wild roast pig and steamed pork buns. Although he often tries to avoid fighting, he has aided Goku and his companions in crucial moments. He resides at Korin Tower, where he helps provide Senzu Beans to the Dragon Team. While he tends to be asocial and self-centered, Yajirobe has shown a courageous and honorable side on several occasions. For instance, he severed Great Ape Vegeta's tail, aiding Goku, Gohan, and Krillin, and he also helped an injured Goku reach Korin Tower for the Ultra Divine Water. Yajirobe's appeal lies in his contrasting traits: his cowardice and surprising strength, his selfishness and willingness to help when it matters, making him an intriguing character.
