Kami

Kami, in the Dragon Ball series, is the guardian of Earth and the good counterpart of King Piccolo. He was originally a nameless Namekian who separated himself from his inner evil to become the guardian. He resides in the Lookout, guiding and training warriors like Goku. Kami possesses immense power and wisdom, and he created the Earth's Dragon Balls. Despite being a god, he doesn't seek worship but silently protects Earth and its people. He shares a life link with the evil King Piccolo and later merges with Piccolo to become a stronger warrior. In Dragon Ball GT, due to his fusion with Piccolo, he dies when Piccolo sacrifices himself to protect humanity. Kami is a complex character with a deep backstory and a crucial role in the series.
