Monster Carrot, also known as Toninjinka, is a minor antagonist in the Dragon Ball series. He is an anthropomorphic rabbit and the leader of the Rabbit Mob. His cronies are subject to wearing a pair of false rabbit ears. Before their downfall at the hands of Goku, the Rabbit Mob was in control of a remote village in the Diablo Desert. Monster Carrot possesses the ability to turn people into carrots, which he uses to terrorize and rule over the villagers. He first appeared in the 17th chapter of the manga, "Carrot Top", and the 9th episode of the anime, "Boss Rabbit's Magic Touch." In his encounter with Goku, he transforms Bulma into a carrot. Later, he is defeated by Goku and his friends and taken to the moon to make treats. Although the moon is destroyed, it is revealed that he later escaped back to Earth and made a brief appearance in Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans, where he was defeated by Yamcha. Overall, Monster Carrot is a comical and memorable character who adds a unique flavor to the early Dragon Ball story.
