Soba

Soba, also known as Shu, is a character from the Dragon Ball series. Originally named Soba in the manga, he was later renamed Shu. He serves as a ninja lackey to Emperor Pilaf and is one of the first "villains" to appear in the series. Despite being categorized as a villain, his role is more comedic in nature. He typically works alongside Mai, who plays the serious role and carries heavy weaponry, while Shu is portrayed as clumsy and cowardly. Shu is an anthropomorphic canine, resembling a Shiba Inu. He is often seen wearing purple ninja attire and carries a katana. He and Mai are loyal followers of Emperor Pilaf and carry out various schemes with the main objective of gathering the Dragon Balls and conquering the world. Despite their constant failures, Shu and Mai remain loyal to their leader, Pilaf. The trio often appear in comedic situations, adding much humor to the Dragon Ball series.
