Man-Wolf is a minor antagonist in the Dragon Ball series, first appearing in chapter 119 of the manga and episode 89 of the anime. He is a humanoid wolf that transforms into a human during the full moon. During the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament, Master Roshi (disguised as Jackie Chun) destroys the moon, causing Man-Wolf to be permanently stuck in his wolf form, leading him to harbor a grudge against Jackie Chun. Seeking revenge, he enters the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament and fights against Jackie Chun. Despite being a strong martial artist with a 30th level black belt, he is no match for Jackie Chun. Jackie Chun eventually uses hypnosis to make Man-Wolf see Krillin's bald head as the moon, thus transforming him back into a human. However, Man-Wolf is later killed by Tambourine, a minion of King Piccolo, but is later resurrected by the Dragon Balls. He also appears in the movie *Bojack Unbound*, participating in an intergalactic tournament, where despite a strong showing, he is eliminated by ring out. In his wolf form, Man-Wolf is an anthropomorphic wolf in a red gi, while in his human form he is a burly man with large lips and dark short hair. He despises his wolf form because it prevents him from being with women and he has an aversion to "furry" things. Despite his brief reconciliation with Jackie Chun, he is a fighter driven by vengeance.
