Shen

Shen (シェン), in the Dragon Ball series, commonly refers to Shenron, a giant dragon that can grant wishes when summoned by gathering the seven Dragon Balls. However, early in the Dragon Ball story, there was also a character named "Shen" who was actually the Earth's Guardian (Kami) disguised as a normal human to participate in the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai (World Martial Arts Tournament). This "Shen", a regular human, had a hunched back and wore glasses, giving him a comical appearance. When Kami possessed him, he displayed fighting skills far beyond normal humans, leaving a deep impression on the audience. Additionally, it should be noted that there is also a character named "Dark Shenron" in the Dragon Ball series, an evil dragon born from the negative energy of the Dragon Balls.
