Commander Red

Commander Red (レッド総帥) is a major antagonist in the Dragon Ball series, serving as the leader of the Red Ribbon Army. He is a short-statured, ill-tempered man with an extreme desire to become taller. He seeks the Dragon Balls at any cost to fulfill this wish, even hiring the assassin Mercenary Tao. Although he claims to be conquering the world, his true goal is to use the Dragon Balls to make himself taller. Under his command, the Red Ribbon Army became one of the most feared military criminal organizations in the world. Ultimately, his ambition and ruthless leadership led to his downfall, and he was killed by his own subordinate, Black. Despite this, he remains an important character in the Dragon Ball series, and his image is deeply ingrained in popular culture.
