Gebo

Gebo (ゲボ), code-named "Gold," is a character in the Dragon Ball series. He is an elite soldier of the Red Ribbon Army and the son of the Red Ribbon Army scientist Dr. Gero and Vomi. Gebo is the template for Android 16. He is described as a ruthless, brave, and daring warrior. Gebo died in battle after being struck by an enemy bullet. To honor him, Dr. Gero modeled Android 16 after Gebo and deliberately programmed him to be non-aggressive, not wanting him destroyed in battle. Gebo appears in a photo in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, showing his family relationship with Dr. Gero and Vomi, and his role as Dr. Gero’s son and Dr. Hedo's uncle. Although Gebo does not appear directly in the main story, he is important in the Dragon Ball series as the template for Android 16.
