Chiaotzu

Chiaotzu (チャオズ), also known as Chaoz, is a character in the Dragon Ball series. He is a small, white-skinned, red-cheeked Earthling and is best friends and constant companions with Tien Shinhan. Initially a student of Master Shen at the Crane School, Chiaotzu later betrays his teacher and becomes a friend and ally to Goku, joining the Z Fighters. Chiaotzu is a powerful psychic, wielding telepathy and telekinesis which makes him a valuable combatant. He is most notable for his dedication and willingness to sacrifice himself for his friends. Although somewhat childish and often naive, his bravery and loyalty have made him a fan favorite. His name is a pun on the Chinese dish "jiaozi", in line with the naming conventions for many characters in Dragon Ball. Chiaotzu's design is inspired by Chinese Jiang Shi, reflected in his pale skin, red cheeks, and distinct fighting stance.
