Mr. Satan

Mr. Satan, also known as Hercule, is a prominent character in the Dragon Ball series, known for his comedic personality and self-proclaimed heroism. His real name is Mark, and he is a world martial arts champion, though his skills pale in comparison to Goku and his friends. Despite this, Mr. Satan always takes credit for defeating powerful foes, becoming a global icon. In the Saiyan and Android sagas, despite his lack of real power, he garners public admiration through his bravado and exaggerated claims. In the Majin Buu saga, he befriends Majin Buu and ultimately helps Goku gather energy from Earth to defeat the evil Buu, becoming a true hero. Mr. Satan's complex character, with both vanity and courage, makes him one of the most beloved characters in the Dragon Ball series. He is also Videl's father, Gohan's father-in-law, and Pan's grandfather, playing an important role in family dynamics as well.
