Spopovitch

Spopovich (スポポビッチ) is a character from Dragon Ball Z, first appearing in the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament. Originally a human martial artist of mediocre skill, he participated in previous tournaments. In the Majin Buu saga, he is controlled by the evil wizard Babidi, becoming his minion and gaining immense power. Under Babidi's control, Spopovich undergoes a dramatic physical transformation: his muscles become abnormally large, his skin turns pale, and Babidi's mark "M" appears on his forehead. His personality also becomes cruel and belligerent, taking pleasure in tormenting his opponents. In the tournament, he brutally defeats Videl and, along with his partner Yamu, steals energy from Gohan, providing power for Babidi to resurrect Majin Buu. Ultimately, he is callously discarded by Babidi, who uses his magic to make him explode. Spopovich is a quintessential villain, whose presence heightens the story's tension and showcases Babidi's cruelty and evil. Although not a major character, he plays a pivotal role in driving the plot.
