Yamu

Yamu (ヤムー) is a minor antagonist in the Buu Saga of Dragon Ball Z. He first appears at the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament as Spopovich's partner. Both are under the control of the evil wizard Babidi and are used to gather energy for Majin Buu's resurrection. Originally an ordinary Earthling, Yamu undergoes a drastic change in appearance after being manipulated by Babidi's magic, becoming pale, brutish, and unnaturally muscular. Unlike the cruel and sadistic Spopovich, Yamu exhibits more intelligence and composure, even stopping Spopovich from killing Videl. However, Yamu is ultimately killed by Babidi's henchman, Pui Pui. Yamu's role in the story is to showcase the power of Babidi's magic and the evil nature of his minions, while also emphasizing Vegeta's willingness to fall to evil for the sake of power. Yamu has appeared in several Dragon Ball games, usually as a background character or sidekick to Spopovich.
