Tora

Tora (Japanese: トーマ, Tōma) is a Saiyan character in the Dragon Ball series, a member of Bardock's Team within the Frieza Force. Tora's name is a pun on the word "tomato." His original character design differed greatly from Akira Toriyama's final draft, with his hair initially resembling Vegeta's and his build being much thinner, making him appear taller than Bardock. Tora is a cold-blooded but honorable fighter with camaraderie for his team. He often playfully teases his allies, especially Bardock, to keep him from getting too cocky. In *Dragon Ball Z: Bardock - The Father of Goku*, Tora and the team attack Planet Kanassa. After Bardock is injured, they return to Planet Vegeta. On their way to their next assignment, Tora and his team are ambushed by Dodoria. Before dying, Tora tells Bardock about Frieza's plot. Bardock takes Tora's blood-soaked armband and ties it around his forehead as a memorial. Tora also makes a cameo appearance in *Dragon Ball: Episode of Bardock*. He appears as a playable Great Ape character in *Dragon Ball Heroes*. In *Dragon Ball Legends*, Tora appears, fighting alongside his teammates against various enemies.
