Nail

Nail (ネイル, Neiru) is a Namekian character from the Dragon Ball series. He is introduced as the 'lone' warrior-type Namekian when he first appears. He serves as the personal bodyguard to Grand Elder Guru, and is remarkably strong for a Namekian. In fact, at the time of Frieza's attack on Namek, Nail was the most powerful Namekian alive. He later merges with Piccolo, and his power becomes a part of Piccolo's strength making Piccolo retain the title as the most powerful Namekian. Nail has a very heroic and honorable personality, dedicating his life to the protection of Grand Elder Guru. He deeply cares for his fellow Namekians, a trait that is apparent during his fight with Frieza when he engages in battle without hesitation for his own well-being. While Nail's power level of 42,000 puts him on par with some members of the Ginyu Force, he is ultimately outmatched and defeated by Frieza. Even after being completely overpowered and exhausted, he continues to fight. Eventually, he fuses with Piccolo, where his soul resides, sharing his knowledge with Piccolo.
