Raspberry

Raspberry (Japanese: ラーズベリ, Rāzuberi) is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball franchise. He makes his debut in "Destination: Guru", the 59th episode of Dragon Ball Z, which premiered on August 29, 1990. His name is a pun on the fruit raspberry. Raspberry is a soldier in Frieza's Force, working alongside Blueberry. They are among the militants sent to investigate the Dragon Balls that Vegeta seized. During their search, they encounter Bulma, who possesses a Dragon Ball. They attempt to intimidate Bulma into revealing the location of the other Dragon Balls, threatening to take her to Frieza for interrogation. Raspberry and Blueberry mistakenly believe Bulma hid the Dragon Balls at the bottom of the sea, and are dragged into the sea by a giant crab. However, Raspberry later appears on Frieza's spaceship and is killed by the Z Fighters while trying to protect the Dragon Balls. Raspberry is a playable character in some Dragon Ball video games, and has color variations like Navel, Monrei, and Gupure.
