Android 17

Android 17, also known as Lapis, is a significant character in the Dragon Ball series. Originally a human, he was modified by Dr. Gero into an android with infinite energy. Initially designed to carry out Dr. Gero's revenge against Goku, Android 17 quickly betrayed and killed his creator. He is known for his rebellious, confident personality and powerful fighting abilities. In Dragon Ball Z, he engaged in fierce battles with Piccolo and was later absorbed by Cell. In Dragon Ball Super, he returns as a national park ranger, demonstrating a mature and responsible side. Invited by Goku to join the Tournament of Power, he ultimately becomes the winner and uses the Super Dragon Balls to grant his wish. Android 17's appearance varies; early on, he wears clothing with the Red Ribbon Army logo, while later, he wears attire with the word “RANGER”. He is a complex and compelling character who evolved from a rebellious android to a hero protecting nature.
