West Kaioh

West Kaio (西の界王, Nishi no Kaiō) is a character in the Dragon Ball series who oversees the Western Galaxy of the universe. He is a rival to North Kaio and is known for his arrogant, rude, and insulting personality. West Kaio is short in stature, about half the size of North Kaio, and wears a blue monocle, being the only Kai without sunglasses. His fighters are very strong, with Pikkon being his strongest. He also trained Tapkar and Maraikoh. West Kaio taught Pikkon the Thunder Flash attack, and later complained about how difficult it is to teach his students, who are obsessed with explosions after Pikkon destroyed the Other World Tournament arena twice with the Thunder Flash. West Kaio had fought Majin Buu in the past, but initially didn't recognize him until reminded by North Kaio, and teased Pikkon that Buu was far stronger. The four Kaios often argue with each other, but only unite during universal crises. West Kaio first appeared in Dragon Ball Z and has appeared in movies like Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn and games like Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury.
