Chapuchai is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball series, first appearing in the Other World Tournament arc of Dragon Ball Z. He is a deceased warrior from the East Quadrant of the universe. He is depicted as a short, muscular man with tan skin and a distinctive black beard that resembles a fish fin. Chapuchai is known for his incredible speed, which gives the illusion that there are seven of him and he also possesses the ability to clone himself. Despite these unique skills, he lost in the first round of the Other World Tournament against Olibu. Chapuchai later makes a brief cameo in Dragon Ball GT, where he is seen training under the South Kai. His character design is inspired by the dish Chop Suey, reflecting the whimsical naming conventions in Dragon Ball. Overall, Chapuchai is a fast but less formidable fighter, often seen in the background.
