Caterpy

Caterpy (キャタピー) is a participant in the Other World Tournament from Dragon Ball Z, hailing from the Southern Area of the universe. Resembling a large caterpillar, he possesses ten arms and two legs. During his fight with Goku, Caterpy displays his unique fighting style, attempting to tickle Goku into submission, which proves ineffective. After being struck by Goku, he enters a pupa state in preparation for a metamorphosis, reportedly taking 1,200 years. Due to this lengthy process, Grand Kai declares Goku the winner. Caterpy exhibits arrogance during the tournament but lacks significant strength, making his fighting style and abilities quite peculiar. While his ultimate form is never seen, he remains a memorable minor character in the Dragon Ball universe.
