Froug

Froug (フーログ, Fūrogu) is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball series, first appearing in the "Other World Tournament" arc of the Dragon Ball Z anime. He is a humanoid frog-like alien fighter from the South Area of the Other World. Froug is known for his pragmatic combat style. During the Other World Tournament, he battles Maraikoh, attempting to push him out of the ring by inflating his body. However, Maraikoh ultimately throws him into a meteor, eliminating him from the competition. Froug later appears alongside King Kai, watching Goku's battle against Majin Buu via King Kai's telepathy, alongside numerous other fighters. In Dragon Ball GT, Froug briefly appears training under South Kai. He also makes an appearance in the movie *Fusion Reborn*, where he is defeated by Goku in the semi-finals with a single kick. His name is sometimes spelled as "Frogue" in subtitles. Froug also appears in the video game *Buu's Fury*.
