Beerus

Beerus (Japanese: ビルス, Birusu) is a major character in the Dragon Ball franchise. He is the God of Destruction of Universe 7, accompanied by his martial arts teacher and attendant, Whis. Beerus's twin brother is Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6. Beerus first appeared as the main antagonist in the film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, and later became a supporting character in Dragon Ball Super. He appears as a purple, cat-like humanoid wearing traditional Egyptian attire. Beerus's role is to maintain the balance of the universe by destroying planets, in contrast to the Supreme Kais who create and preserve. He possesses immense power, capable of easily destroying planets and even universes, but is also lazy and playful. A gourmet, he loves good food, and is prone to anger over trivial matters, like losing a game or not getting pudding. Despite this, he has become more humorous and tolerant after interacting with Goku and others. His character is complex, both a fearsome God of Destruction and a somewhat childish and temperamental figure.
