Gine

Gine (ギネ), is a character from the Japanese manga series *Dragon Ball*, debuting in *Dragon Ball Minus*. She is a Saiyan, the wife of Bardock, and the mother of Raditz and Goku. Gine was formerly a member of Bardock's team, but due to her gentle nature and lack of fighting aptitude, she often needed to be rescued by Bardock. She later retired from combat and took up work in meat distribution. Gine is characterized by her kind and gentle personality, which contrasts sharply with the typical Saiyan's aggressive nature. She developed a deep bond with Bardock, a rare occurrence among Saiyans. Despite her lack of fighting skills, she was very protective of her children, particularly her youngest, Kakarot (Goku). Gine perished with Bardock during Frieza’s destruction of Planet Vegeta, but her kindness and love had a significant impact on the later story, especially shaping Goku's personality.
