Taro

Taro (タロ), is a Saiyan character in the Dragon Ball series, not a main character, but a supporting character who appears in "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" and "Dragon Ball Minus". Taro is a comrade of Bardock, and like him, a Saiyan warrior who serves in Frieza's army. He possesses the typical Saiyan features, such as short black hair, a muscular build, and a tail. Taro's personality is relatively calm, and in times of crisis, he offers his own speculations and analysis. He participated in the Saiyan invasion of Planet Cereal in Great Ape form. He is destroyed along with the rest of the Saiyans when Frieza destroys Planet Vegeta. While Taro does not appear extensively in the Dragon Ball story, his existence reflects the common fate and background of Saiyan warriors. Taro's name is derived from the English word "taro", similar to many Saiyan names which are inspired by vegetables or plants.
