Esca

Esca (エスカ, Esuka) is a young Namekian from the Dragon Ball series, hailing from New Namek and the chosen successor of Grand Elder Moori. Esca first appeared in the Moro arc of the Dragon Ball Super manga and later in the anime. He is a kind-hearted young Namekian, reminiscent of Dende as a child. Esca possesses typical Namekian features such as antennae, pointy ears, and green skin, and wears traditional Namekian clothing. Although not as skilled at healing as Dende, he has healing abilities, which he used to assist Goku and Vegeta after they were defeated by Moro. During the Moro arc, Esca was forced to act as a tool for Moro to make wishes to Porunga, and was later saved by Majin Buu. Esca is very grateful to those who have helped him, and joined the Galactic Patrol after the battle with Moro. He vowed to Moori that he would survive, and eventually inherited the position of Grand Elder, becoming the protector of New Namek.
