Voldo

Voldo, known as ヴォルド in Japanese, is a fictional character in the Soulcalibur series of fighting games. He first appeared in Soul Edge, and has returned for all games in the series except Soulcalibur Legends. Voldo is the loyal servant of the Italian weapons merchant Vercci and, after Vercci's death, becomes the guardian of Vercci's treasure vault. He is known for his unique fighting style and disturbing appearance. Voldo does not speak, but communicates through moans and hisses, fighting with dual katars in a contorted and unpredictable manner. His movements are inspired by contortionism and acrobatics, making him highly flexible and elusive in battle. Voldo's design often features bondage-style attire, which evolves throughout the series and sometimes incorporates themes like spiders or seasons. His distinct fighting style and eerie appearance have made him one of the most memorable characters in the Soulcalibur series.
