Cervantes de Leon

Cervantes de Leon (セルバンテス・デ・レオン) is a fictional character in the Soulcalibur series, first appearing in Soul Edge. He is a Spanish pirate who became consumed by vengeance after his father died in a conflict with an English warship. Cervantes is later corrupted by the powerful cursed sword, Soul Edge, transforming him into a ruthless soul harvester. His main goal is to acquire more power, sacrificing anything to achieve it. Despite being defeated numerous times, Cervantes always manages to resurrect and threaten the world again. His connection to Soul Edge is so deep that his life is linked to the sword and its soul-devouring abilities. He is also the father of Isabella Valentine (Ivy Valentine), but their relationship is complex and fraught with conflict. Cervantes is often portrayed as a powerful antagonist in the series, wielding two swords, one of which is a pistol sword. His appearance and personality have evolved throughout the games, but his thirst for power and cruelty remain constant.
