Kilik

Kilik (キリク) is one of the main protagonists in the Soulcalibur series of fighting games. He first appeared in Soulcalibur, and has returned as a starting character in all subsequent games in the series, with the exception of Soulcalibur Legends and Soulcalibur: Lost Swords. Kilik is well-known among Soulcalibur fans for his defining practice of rod martial arts. In Soulcalibur V, he returns as a mimic character, randomly using the fighting styles of male characters, as opposed to Elysium, who mimics female styles, and Edge Master, who mimics all styles. In Soulcalibur, he was given the nickname "Destiny Awakened." Kilik's story revolves around his fight against the evil sword Soul Edge, and his efforts to control the evil within him and protect the world. He was infected by the Evil Seed and forced to kill his 'sister,' Xianglian, a tragedy that haunts him throughout his life. He trains with Edge Master, learning to control the evil within him. On his journey, he allies with Maxi and Xianghua as they fight against the threat of Soul Edge. Kilik is a gentle, quiet man with a strong will and a powerful sense of justice. He uses a rod as his weapon and is known for his quick and precise movements.
