Revenant

Revenant (レブナント), is a mysterious and powerful character in the Soulcalibur series. He first appears in Soulcalibur III as an unlockable bonus character and a generic enemy in the Tales of Souls mode. Revenant was once a notorious assassin, known for his ruthlessness and exceptional combat skills. He was eventually killed by a young man, later revived by Zasalamel as his servant. Revenant's skeletal form and formidable fighting abilities make him a unique and memorable character in the Soulcalibur series. In the games, Revenant typically uses the 'Wave Sword' fighting style, and he has been seen using other fighting styles in some entries. In Soulcalibur VI, skeletal characters are referred to as Revenants, and their backstories are expanded upon, describing them as living corpses re-animated by malevolent energy. While Revenant has appeared in several games, his backstory and skill set make him a key character in the series.
