Kamikirimusi

Original Title神斬蝕

Languages:

  • Chinese: 神斩蚀
  • Japanese: 神斬蝕
  • English: Kamikirimusi
Kamikirimusi, also known as 神斬蝕, is a bonus character in Soulcalibur IV, designed by guest artist Hirokazu Hisayuki. She is an oni, a type of demon in Japanese folklore, often compared to ogres or trolls in Western tales. Kamikirimusi is identifiable by her Japanese attire, horns, and the club she wields. Her primary weapon is a massive, spiked club called a kanabō, a traditional weapon of the oni. Like other bonus characters, Kamikirimusi's moveset is recycled from one of the main characters, specifically Nightmare. Despair resides within her soul. In Soulcalibur IV's storyline, she was magically restrained by an onmyōdō practitioner for destroying the capital during the Heian Period. Six hundred years later, upon her release, she discovered her friends were gone. Sensing a powerful force, she began to search for its source. Her ending sees her leaving with Algol, whom she saw as family, and ultimately disappearing.
