Souryuu

Souryuu (蒼龍), is a character in "Kantai Collection" (艦隊これくしょん -艦これ-, KanColle), based on the Japanese aircraft carrier Souryuu from World War II. In the game, she is a cute ship girl, usually appearing in a green dougi top and a green pleated skirt, with the sleeves fading to gray. Her name "Souryuu" means "Blue Dragon" in Japanese, and her green and blue color scheme is said to originate from this. As a standard aircraft carrier, Souryuu has high speed and a good aircraft capacity. She can be remodeled, including Souryuu Kai and Souryuu Kai Ni. She and Hiryuu are sister ships and often associated with each other. In the game's story, Souryuu participated in many major battles, including the attack on Pearl Harbor, but she seems to have a somewhat hazy memory of the Battle of Midway, which has become a characteristic trait. Her voice actress is Sumire Uesaka, who also provides the voice acting. Souryuu's image and character design have made her a popular character among players of "Kantai Collection." She is a member of the Second Carrier Division, with unique lines and personality, creating a lively and rich world alongside other ship girls in the game.
