Haruna

Haruna is a character from the card-based web game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle) and its derivative works, voiced by Nao Tōyama. She is the third ship of the Kongō-class battlecruisers of the former Imperial Japanese Navy, named after Mount Haruna in Gunma Prefecture. Haruna was the first main battleship built by a civilian shipyard. She participated in numerous key battles during the Pacific War, including the landings in Malaya and the South Pacific naval battles. Despite being damaged in the Mariana Islands naval battle, she continued to fight in the Battle of Leyte Gulf. After the war, she was moored at the Kure Naval Base due to fuel shortages and was ultimately sunk and dismantled in 1945. In the game, Haruna is known for her humble and polite personality and strong combat capabilities, making her a beloved character among players. She has multiple forms, including Haruna Kai, Haruna Kai Ni, Haruna Kai Ni B, and Haruna Kai Ni C, each upgrade enhancing her battle prowess. Her lines and voiceovers also show her gentle and caring side towards the Admiral. Haruna is not only a powerful warship in the game but also a popular Kanmusu adored by players.
