Yamashiro

Yamashiro is a character in the Japanese browser game *Kantai Collection* (KanColle), a ship girl representing the second battleship of the Fusou-class. She is often portrayed as having a strong inferiority complex, referring to herself as an "unlucky battleship," due to her historical experiences of multiple refits and her tragic sinking. Despite this, she has a strong dependence and affection for her older sister, the first ship of the class, Fusou. In the game, Yamashiro can be upgraded to an Aviation Battleship and has several forms. She is characterized by her black bobbed hair, red eyes, miko-style attire, and a large pagoda-like hair ornament. Known for her complex personality, devotion to her sister, and her occasional self-deprecating "unlucky" remarks, Yamashiro is one of the more popular characters in KanColle. She is voiced by Fujita Saki and designed by Rikka.
