Tenryuu

Tenryuu (天龍(てんりゅう)) is a light cruiser ship girl from the game *Kantai Collection* (艦隊これくしょん, KanColle). She is the lead ship of the Tenryuu-class light cruisers, known for her confident and belligerent personality. In the game, she is typically portrayed as an outgoing and somewhat arrogant 'ore-musume' (a girl who refers to herself with the masculine pronoun 'ore'), who proudly declares herself the leader of torpedo squadrons. Despite her relatively low initial stats in the game, she plays an important role in completing certain quests. Tenryuu has multiple forms in the game, including her base form, Tenryuu Kai, and Tenryuu Kai Ni. Her Kai Ni form boosts her anti-air capabilities and allows her to equip autogyros, at the cost of some other equipment slots. She has a close relationship with her sister ship, Tatsuta, and the two often operate together in the game. In the anime and manga adaptations, Tenryuu is often depicted with her signature eyepatch, sword-like weapon, and somewhat boastful personality. Despite her frequent self-promotion, she has a charming and reliable side, making her a popular character among players.
