Tatsuta

Tatsuta (龍田 (たつた)) is a character from "Kantai Collection" (艦隊これくしょん, KanColle), the second ship of the Tenryuu-class light cruisers. In the game, Tatsuta is portrayed as a demure yet somewhat sadistic character, serving as a foil to her sister ship, Tenryuu. Her initial version was implemented on April 23, 2013, and she received her Kai Ni (second remodel) form on January 17, 2018. After her Kai Ni remodel, Tatsuta is capable of performing preemptive opening attacks against submarines, and can equip landing craft, special amphibious tanks, and autogyros, but not secondary guns, reconnaissance seaplanes, or large radars. Her Kai Ni form also has a special anti-aircraft cut-in (AACI) mechanism, requiring specific equipment to trigger. Her illustrations are drawn by Ayaki and her voice actress is Yuka Iguchi. Tatsuta's lines and storyline within the game hint at her weakness against submarines, reflecting her historical sinking by a submarine. The core gameplay of "Kantai Collection" revolves around collecting and nurturing these anthropomorphized warships, enhancing their abilities through battles, upgrades, and remodels.
