Mikazuki

Mikazuki is a destroyer kanmusu (ship girl) in the game *Kantai Collection* (KanColle), and she is the 10th ship of the Mutsuki-class destroyer. Her name, "Mikazuki", means "crescent moon". She was designed by the artist Yadokari and voiced by Rina Hidaka. In the game, Mikazuki is portrayed as a polite, earnest, and hardworking girl, although she sometimes lacks self-confidence. She excels in expeditions, has low combat power and fuel consumption, making her a reliable logistical member of the fleet. Historically, Mikazuki participated in the Solomon Islands campaign and carried out transport missions. She wears a typical black sailor uniform, with a crescent moon decoration on her right collar, and uniquely wears plain black socks unlike other Mutsuki-class ship girls. Her equipment includes a single-barreled gun in her left hand, a shield on her left shoulder, and cylindrical fuel cans and a funnel on her waist. Her rig is a mirror image of Mochizuki's. Although an early-implemented destroyer, Mikazuki can be equipped with a Daihatsu Landing Craft through event quests, allowing her to perform well in land combat and transport. Her catchphrase is: "Ikkimasu!".
