Tama

Tama is a character in "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), representing the second ship of the Kuma-class light cruisers in the former Imperial Japanese Navy. In the game, Tama is personified as a young woman with red eyes and short, pinkish-purple hair. She typically wears a white sailor uniform with cyan trim, consisting of a short-sleeved shirt, sailor collar, shorts, and a red neckerchief. She is often depicted barefoot. Tama's personality is generally laid-back and cat-like, often ending her sentences with "nya" and is frequently portrayed sleeping or relaxing under a kotatsu. In her Kai Ni (second remodel) form, her outfit changes to a winter camouflage theme with cat-themed rigging, such as torpedo launchers designed as 'paws' and an anchor chain as a 'tail'. Tama can equip seaplanes in the game, and her character design and dialogue emphasize her feline traits, which are associated with her name commonly being used for cats in Japanese.
