Jintsuu

Jintsuu is a character from the Japanese game *Kantai Collection* (KanColle), a Fleet Girl based on the Imperial Japanese Navy's Jintsuu, the second vessel of the Sendai-class light cruiser. In the game, she initially has a timid and quiet personality with a great respect for the admiral (the player) and a dislike of fighting. However, after her second remodel (Kai Ni), her battle spirit is renewed, showing gallantry, bravery, and responsibility. Jintsuu’s initial appearance is of a girl with long brown hair, wearing an orange sailor suit and a green ribbon. In her Kai Ni form, she becomes more gallant, equipped with a searchlight, reflecting her historical role in the Battle of Kolombangara where she illuminated enemy ships with her searchlight, drawing their fire. Despite her shy personality, Jintsuu displays incredible strength in battle and is often called a "demon instructor," especially when training destroyers. However, she also demonstrates kindness in some fan-made works. She is the flagship of the Second Torpedo Squadron and an important character in the game, featuring unique equipment bonuses, particularly when using searchlights. She is a popular character among players of KanColle.
