Chiyoda

Chiyoda is a character from "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), the second ship of the Chitose-class seaplane tenders. In the game, Chiyoda appears with short brown hair and a sailor uniform, portrayed as a character very concerned about her sister, Chitose, often mentioning her in dialogues. A unique aspect of Chiyoda is her multiple remodel forms, progressing from a seaplane tender to a midget submarine carrier, and finally to a light aircraft carrier, giving her various uses in the game. Her lines and interactions often revolve around her love for her sister, even leading to amusing misunderstandings, such as her developing a competitive "romantic" awareness of the Admiral. Chiyoda features various limited-time illustrations in the game, such as her sweet potato roasting outfit in the fall and her raincoat look in the rainy season, showcasing her different sides. Her historical background is based on the Imperial Japanese Navy warship of the same name, which underwent conversions from a seaplane tender to a light aircraft carrier during World War II and was eventually sunk at the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
