Kako

Kako is a character from "Kantai Collection" (艦隊これくしょん, KanColle), a "ship girl" based on the Japanese heavy cruiser "Kako" of the Imperial Japanese Navy. She is the second ship of the Furutaka-class heavy cruisers, known for her lively and somewhat absent-minded personality. Although her stats were relatively low in the early stages of the game, Kako's abilities have significantly improved after multiple updates and remodeling. She has black hair and a unique hairstyle, often wearing a naval uniform. In battle, she shouts out attack names like "Kako Special." Kako's lines are full of energy, but she also has a habit of dozing off, often at inappropriate times. She likes to pass her troubles to Furutaka, showing her slightly lazy side. Additionally, one of Kako's unique features in the game is that players can pull her skirt, which is rare among other ship girls. In the 2021 rainy season event, Kako received a new limited-time illustration, transforming her image with long hair and appearing as a beautiful girl, which generated a lot of discussion among players. Kako's character also reflects her historical fate, as she was sunk by a US submarine during her return voyage after the Japanese victory at the First Battle of the Solomon Sea.
