Choukai

Choukai (鳥海), is a character in the Japanese web browser game "Kantai Collection" (艦隊これくしょん), also known as KanColle. She is the fourth ship of the Takao-class heavy cruisers. She is recognized by her long black hair, red eyes, and frameless glasses. Her outfit typically consists of a blue midriff-baring top and a white skirt with red trim. Within the game's setting, she is a clear-headed and responsible character who addresses the player (Admiral) as "Commander-san" and often uses the phrase "Calculated as planned". Choukai can undergo two remodelings in the game, the final form being "Choukai Kai Ni," boasting high firepower and night battle abilities, as well as being a crucial character for completing certain high difficulty quests. She is designed based on the Imperial Japanese Navy's heavy cruiser Choukai, retaining some historical background like participating in the battles of Malaya, Solomon, Mariana, and Leyte. Choukai is also one of the few characters in the game with a large number of seasonal voice lines.
