Oboro

Oboro (おぼろ), also known as 朧, is a kanmusu (ship girl) in the game Kantai Collection (KanColle), a member of the Ayanami-class destroyers. She is characterized by her messy short yellow hair, yellow eyes, and a bandage on her right cheek. In the game, Oboro initially equips a 12.7cm twin gun mount. Upon remodeling, she gains new rigging and greater combat abilities. She also gets a change in appearance, with larger breasts and her pet crab, Mr. Crab, relocated to her new equipment. Oboro can undergo modernization in the game to enhance her stats. Her personality is slightly tsundere, often saying she dislikes the Admiral while not truly meaning it. In battle, Oboro gives her all and vows to protect the fleet. She has special voice lines and quotes that reveal her unique character. Outside of the game, she appears in manga, anime, and other spin-offs, making her a popular character among players.
