Akatsuki

Akatsuki (暁, あかつき) is a character from the game "Kantai Collection" (艦隊これくしょん, KanColle), also known as "Combined Fleet Girls Collection". She is the lead ship of the Akatsuki-class destroyers, a modified version of the Fubuki-class. Akatsuki is known for her self-proclaimed title of "First Class Lady" and her slightly tsundere personality; she tries hard to act mature and composed, but often reveals a childish side. She belongs to the Sixth Destroyer Division, alongside her teammates, including Inazuma, Ikazuchi, and Hibiki (later Verniy). Akatsuki has multiple forms in the game, including her initial, Kai, and Kai Ni forms, with each remodel bringing changes to her appearance and abilities. Her attire consists of a dark blue sailor uniform with a navy cap, along with a “III” emblem denoting her subclass. Despite her attempts at maturity, her childish tendencies and dedication to her “lady” identity make her a popular character. Historically, Akatsuki was a destroyer in the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II, and in the game, she is personified as a cute girl. Her in-game lines, hourly notifications, and seasonal quotes all highlight her desire to be seen as a grown woman, despite showing her naive side.
