Ikazuchi

Ikazuchi, (雷, Ikazuchi), is a destroyer girl featured in the game *Kantai Collection* (KanColle). She is the third ship of the Akatsuki-class destroyers, known for her energetic personality and somewhat bossy demeanor. She has reddish-brown, slightly disheveled short hair, adorned with a red hairpin on the left side, and matching reddish-brown eyes. In the game, Ikazuchi is portrayed as a very caring character towards her admiral (the player), often showing a desire to look after and be relied upon. Despite her youthful appearance, she possesses surprising maturity and a sense of responsibility, sometimes even acting like a 'mom'. Her personality is often contrasted with her sister ship Inazuma, with whom she is often depicted as a pair of lively twins. Beyond the game, Ikazuchi also appears in anime and manga adaptations, and is a popular character known for her charm. Historically, she was involved in rescue operations, which is reflected in her game dialogue where she states that "simply being strong isn't enough". She is a beloved character in both the game and fan-created works, and often jokingly called a "useless admiral maker" or a "loli-okan" because of her caring nature towards her admiral.
