Nenohi

Nenohi (ねのひ) is a Kanmusu character in the game Kantai Collection (KanColle), and is the second ship of the Hatsuharu-class destroyers. She is known for her cheerful personality, her unique catchphrase 'What day is it today?', and her tendency to speak in the third person. Nenohi is characterized by her short pink hair with a small ahoge, and wears a sailor-style uniform with bandages on her arms and legs. Her rigging has a mechanical look, similar to Hatsuharu or Tenryuu. In the game, Nenohi is a beloved character due to her cute appearance and energetic personality. She is a member of the 21st Destroyer Division along with her fellow Hatsuharu-class sisters and is active in various battles. Nenohi's name is derived from the Japanese old calendar's 'Nenohi,' meaning the day of the 'child' in the Chinese zodiac. This special day was associated with celebrations in Japan. Furthermore, Nenohi is also a character with a knack for puns, often making jokes related to her name, such as saying "Today is Nenohi" when she introduces herself.
