Shigure

Shigure (しぐれ), also known as Shigure of Kantai Collection, is a prominent character in the browser game and anime series "Kantai Collection" (艦隊これくしょん, KanColle). She is the second ship of the Shiratsuyu-class destroyers. In the game, Shigure is known for her calm and reserved demeanor, as well as her somewhat melancholic appearance. She is also known as a lucky ship, often compared to Yukikaze. She has a deep emotional connection to the sisters of the Fusou and Yamashiro, stemming from her time as a member of the Nishimura Fleet during the Battle of Surigao Strait in the Leyte Gulf. Shigure has several in-game remodel forms, such as Kai, Kai Ni and Kai San, each of which provide her with increased power and a distinct appearance. She is known for using 'boku' as a personal pronoun, and also for her association with rain. In the second season of the KanColle anime, she takes on a protagonist role, showcasing her resolve and responsibility as a navy veteran throughout the Pacific War.
