Murasame

Murasame is a character from the game *Kantai Collection* (KanColle), a ship girl based on the Japanese Imperial Navy's Shiratsuyu-class destroyer, Murasame. Designed by Kujou Ichiso and voiced by Tanibe Yumi (now known as Yumi Tanibe), Murasame is recognizable by her light brown twintails and reddish-brown eyes. She has a cheerful and energetic personality, often saying “Hai hai~!” and “Ii kanji ii kanji~!” Initially appearing as a common destroyer, Murasame gradually developed her unique charm through multiple remodels (including "Kai" and "Kai Ni") and limited-time event illustrations, gaining popularity among players. In the game, she possesses high torpedo, anti-submarine, and evasion stats, excelling in night battles. Her remodeled forms further enhance her combat abilities and grant her unique equipment bonuses. Additionally, Murasame shares a close relationship with Yuudachi, another Shiratsuyu-class destroyer, and they are often treated as twin characters, appearing together in the game's story and events.
