Shiranui

Shiranui (しらぬい), also known as Unryu, is a character from the game *Kantai Collection* (艦隊これくしょん, also known as KanColle), where she is a personification of the Japanese destroyer *Shiranui* of the Kagero-class. In the game, Shiranui is known for her cool and collected personality, as well as her intense combativeness during battles. She is often depicted as a young girl with pink hair tied in a ponytail with a blue hair accessory. Her outfit is the typical Kagero-class destroyer uniform, featuring a vest, red tie, and black shorts. In battle, Shiranui displays a stark contrast to her calm demeanor, making her a unique and intriguing character for players. She is often nicknamed "Nuinui" or "Ochidosan" by fans, the latter derived from one of her lines implying a rebuke to her commander's mistakes. Shiranui is not only a playable character in the game but also appears in other media such as anime and manga, further expanding her story and popularity. She is a popular character often depicted in fan art, doujin works and cosplay.
