Maikaze

Maikaze is a character from the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), a personification of the 18th Kagerou-class destroyer. She's known for her cheerful and upbeat personality and her love for dancing, which is often reflected in her lines and actions. In the game, she is portrayed as a blonde girl with green eyes, usually wearing a sailor-style uniform and equipped with twin-barreled guns. Maikaze's historical background corresponds to that of the real Japanese naval destroyer Maikaze, which participated in several major battles, including the Battle of Midway, and ultimately sank during the Truk Island airstrike. Despite her cheerful demeanor, Maikaze also has a tragic backstory in the game, echoing her real-life fate. She has a close relationship with Nowaki, another Kagerou-class destroyer, whom she frequently mentions in the game. Maikaze is a popular character among players; her cheerful personality contrasts starkly with her tragic background, making her a more complex and engaging character.
