Kumano

Kumano is a ship girl in the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), based on the Imperial Japanese Navy heavy cruiser Kumano. She is the fourth ship of the Mogami-class heavy cruisers and is known for her elegant demeanor and slightly haughty personality, referring to herself as a "stylish heavy cruiser born in Kobe." She has chestnut-brown hair in a ponytail, green eyes, and wears a brown uniform, unlike Mogami and Mikuma's dark red sailor uniform, which reflects a historical design change. Kumano can undergo several remodelings, upgrading from a heavy cruiser to an aviation cruiser and eventually a light carrier, each changing her appearance and capabilities. She is also known for her sense of direction in the official manga, as well as her emphasis on beauty. Her voice actress is Sarah Emi Bridcutt. In the game, she often appears alongside Suzuya, another Mogami-class ship, with whom she shares many interactions.
